Those arriving from east of Boone, can access Sunalei from State Road 194, Meat Camp Road, and Rich Mountain Road. Driving time from both directions is approximately 20 minutes from Boone.
From Downtown Boone, take HWY 421 North approximately 12.5 Miles to Rich Mountain Road. Take a right on Rich Mountain Road and go 1.4 Miles to the Sunalei Preserve Entrance.
